whiporwill: You gotta hand it to the GOP. They’re using wars they started, tax breaks they didn’t pay for and a financial crisis they didn’t prevent all to justify massive cuts they’ve always wanted to make to the middle class. Machiavelli would be envious.
Sarah Palin’s History Lesson as Reviewed by some friends on FB:
“Good grief Palin is morbidly ignorant!”
“Yes indeedy, ladies and gents. This fine human being is considering running for president. Even scarier, there’s people who out there who will vote her.”
“A truly incoherent individual. At some level Palin must know she has nothing to offer but her vanity and ambition forces her to suppress this awareness. I believe the resulting cognitive dissonance will finally cause a full blown, public meltdown.”
“This video convinced me that instead of worrying about birth certificates all potential presidential types should be required to appear on ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER…if you don’t pass you have to go away for 3 years until you are smarter….”

Thought of this song this morning listening to NPR report about the anemic impact of the anemic stimulus package pushed through by President Obama and the “progressive” Democrats. We are now working with: A stimulus package one quarter the size needed. A health care “reform” package a quarter of the size needed. A Wall Street “reform” bill with a quarter of the regulation needed. A president and a Democratic Party establishment with the quarter of the guts needed to stand up for principles, people, and planet.
